Electric Vehicle Repair Maintenance Training Free On the Job Training

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced an open call for applications for On-the-Job Training in Electric and Other Vehicle Maintenance. Electric Vehicle repair maintenance training application open. This six-month training program aims to provide practical skills to trainees who have already received basic training in electric/other vehicle maintenance. The training will be conducted in collaboration with technical institutions designated by the municipality, supported by the Kathmandu Foundation.

The program is part of the city’s commitment to skill development, technical education, and employment promotion under the theme “Prosperous Kathmandu with Skilled Citizens”.

Number of Trainees: 19 individuals (First Phase)
Training Duration: 6 months

Electric Vehicle Car Repair Training- Eligibility and Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents while applying online:
a. Recent passport-size photographs (2 copies)
b. Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate or any other valid government-issued ID (1 copy)
c. Copy of the basic training certificate in Electric/Other Vehicle Maintenance
d. Copy of documents proving work experience in the related field (if any)
e. Copy of minimum Grade 5 passed academic certificate (1 copy)

Selection Process

Screening: Only 19 applicants will be shortlisted in the first phase through a screening process.
Selected candidates will participate in On-the-Job Training in collaboration with the municipality.
If a trainee leaves the program midway without valid reason, they may be restricted from participating in other future training programs conducted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
