Amazon’s festival of deals, to put it one way, is back for another round. The retail giant’s next Prime Day sale has been confirmed for October and starts tomorrow, so here’s what you need to know.
The big event, catchily named ‘Prime Big Deal Days’ for its October outing, will give Prime members exclusive access to “millions of deals” on just about everything you can think of, from air fryers to phones.
“Prime members will be able to shop millions of deals from Amazon’s wide selection from beauty and electronics to must-have gifts and seasonal essentials” said Amazon in a blog post.
It will span the usual two days, though Prime Day in July 2025 was a whopping four day event. You can expect plenty of discounts on Amazon devices, and brands including Samsung, Microsoft, Dyson, Lego and DeLonghi are confirmed to be taking part.
Many of which will be Amazon Choice best-seller products and could hit lowest-prices ever seen. Lightning Deals should also make an appearance.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
It’s now been confirmed that the late Prime Day 2025 event – ‘Prime Big Deal Days’ – will take place on 7-8 October.
However, to access the Big Deal Days sale, you’ll need to be a Prime member. This usually costs £8.99/$14.99 per month or £95/$139 per year, but you can get a free 30-day trial in the UK or US if you haven’t signed up before. It means you’ll essentially get access to all the exclusive deals for free.
There are plenty more benefits which you can read about in our full guide to Amazon Prime.

The dates were to be expected, since Amazon historically holds the event twice a year – once in July and then later in October.

Amazon Prime Day FAQ
Do I need to be a Prime member to access deals?
In simple terms, yes. The sale is exclusive to Prime members.
You will still find discounted products on Amazon available to anyone, but the best offers will be the ones in the Prime sale for members.
If you’re not a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial here, meaning you don’t need to pay extra to access the deals. Otherwise, it’s £8.99/$14.99 per month or £95/$139 per year.
What time will the Amazon Prime Day sale end?
The Prime Big Deal Days discounts will be available until 11:59pm on the final day, 8 October.
If the deals available aren’t quite what you’re looking for, then never fear. Other sales will no doubt take place over the Black Friday and Christmas period with rival retailers such as Currys in the UK and BestBuy in the US.
What products will be on sale for Prime Day 2025?
Amazon has loosely said that the sale will include a “wide selection from beauty and electronics to must-have gifts and seasonal essentials”, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Just about anything you can think of will be on sale, from batteries to cat food to smartphones. As well as Amazon’s own devices like Kindles, Fire tablets, Fire TV sticks, Echo smart speakers and more.
